Favorite Treat Energy Balls

A favourite treat in our house!

You will need:

  • 215g dates

  • 70g cashews

  • 88g almond meal (or fresh almonds)

  • 45g cocoa

  • 50g organic desiccated coconut

  • 20g coconut oil

  • 30g rice malt syrup

Method:

  1. Soak the dates:

    • Soak the dates in water for 20 minutes.

  2. Blend the ingredients:

    • Place all ingredients into a food processor.

    • If the mixture is too dry, add a little more coconut oil.

  3. Shape the balls:

    • Roll the mixture into small balls.

  4. Coat (optional):

    • Roll the balls into desiccated coconut, if desired.

  5. Chill:

    • Keep in the refrigerator and enjoy!
